  • Drive agreements with local gas stations.

  • Develop plan for post-disaster energy distribution.

  • Work with utility companies and community government to develop more green energy options.

  • Meet with all facilities in your community that rely on power for safety to ensure they have proper safety plans in the event of a disaster.

  • Meet with your local utility company to develop a community plan for backup energy and restoring power after a disaster. 

  • Find out if electric substations have backup systems.

Disaster Hub Team Lead

Ensure Disaster Hubs are prepared to operate during power outages.

Community Emergency Manager

  • Ensure Emergency Operations Center is prepared to operate during power outages.

  • Invest in energy devices like mobile generators and power trucks.
